I recently acquired my purple belt and without this man it would not be possible. He truly has opened my eyes and has me seeing Bjj in a different light. Thanks.

An inspirational man, with a big heart. He is able to break down his instructions so that everyone gets something from the lesson, which is then added to our games. Keep doing what your doing, as we are all progressing from your coaching/teachings. A funny bloke too, everyone's learning and laughing. Thanks heaps.

My 1st BJJ instructor very technical that has an excellent understanding of the art & great sense of humour. Just wanna thank him for starting me off in this journey & addiction.

The best BJJ I've ever been trained by who in 8 short months has shown me more then two other black belts and a brown belt instructor could in 7 years. His way of making connections is brilliant and the best part is he walks the walk and regularly competes and tests his game out. This brings a great mix of technical knowledge and battle hardened tenacity to the coaching.

People say they do BJJ. Richard Sargeant doesn't "do" BJJ. He lives it. And this is proven everytime you roll with him. To be as skilled as he is with showing as little effort is pure amazing to watch. If you think you "know" BJJ. I dare you to roll with Richard Sargeant!!

Since I have started training with Richard my game has improved and I've started to observe how I roll in a different perspective. Richard is not only an excellent instructor he is a genuine person and it's an honor to train with such a great guy.

I really enjoy Richard's technical approach to the way he teaches BJJ. When being taught by Richard his students are in the very capable hands of an instructor that wants them to all reach their full potential.

A fine grappler but a fine instructor also. Richard breaks down his techniques extremely well. The one on one's with Richard were extremely beneficial. Richard also assisted me in setting up my own BJJ school which is further testament to his BJJ dedication.
