Alberto Crane for me is one of my wish list Instructors. I've had the opportunity to take a few of his classes and also train with him on occasion. Not very many people make great coaches, but the way he sees the game of Jiu-Jitsu is 100% competition effective. I hope to get to train with him more in the future, and anyone looking for top notch US Grappling and BJJ, Alberto Crane is the man.

Professor Alberto change my live for the best, i been training a long time with Gracie Barra great Professor's in many different cities looking for be able to leave doing what i love, he open the doors for me and help so much to reach my full potential!! Hi is not just a great Instructor, he makes dreams come true!! great friend, and a fearless fighter. I really look up to him.

Alberto Crane is a fraud he is a fake black black belt. He claims to be a world champion when he never was. He owns a bunch of McDojos with a bunch of low level pathetic instructors and is only in it for the money. Like Tim said do yourself a favor and never train with this clown.

I agree with Tim and Mike above. Alberto Crane is a phony in the BJJ world. He claims to be a world champion when he never was. Go look at the results and tell me if you see him in 1st place ever. He says he is a UFC Veteran, when he dominated in both fights, and now he goes to foreign countries and beats fighters that have 3 wins and 25 losses. His schools are all run by below average blue belts or "black belts."
There is a lot of other good jiu jitsu in LA and trust me you do not want to train with him or anyone that is associated with him

I traveled and trained in many countries with many diferents instructors... And Alberto Crane trains without Ego and he always said that to his students... He took an adventure to brazil for many years and did a lot of stuff that many people will not do! Now he believe in "jiujitsu for everyone",and in good school enviroment and that is good because we do not have trash talkers, "tough guys" and People that goes wild and injure while training !! And that is really good !! Professor Alberto is a good friend, listener, supporter, Professor, parent and Black Belt... And remember this : if you throw a rock in a barrel that is full of water it makes very little sound however; an empty barrel would made a loud noise. This is also true with people. You can always tell the empty ones, they are the loudest...

GO and train with Xande Ribeiro Multiple Times World Champion he is @La Brea, Cobrinha Multiple Times World Champion @Wilshire BLVD LA or even with Luiz Baek @burbank dont train with this joke just like Tim said, train real BJJ! and grow up as a family, not with a guy that change instructors and business plans every year
